Hit and miss on some things, but my personal experience has been very good so far. My son and I really enjoyed our brunch here. The sweet treats are also wonderful. Recommend the bowls and tipi tacos for a great relatively healthy mix of flavour and food. My son got a burger and it was a miss- but the bowls were very good. London fog was “one of the best.”
We were looking for a bakery/cafe on our way home from Kamloops, and I came across Kekuli Cafe in Merritt on my Google searches. I am so glad we stopped in! First of all, it was our first time trying traditional indigenous bannock, so we got a variety box. Our server, who i didn't catch his name, was friendly and outgoing and helped me to choose. We got a mix of sweet (for me) and savory (for my husband). He really liked the venison bannock, loaded with meat and cheese. It was an excellent choice. The apple and the blueberry bannock were also delicious and satisfying. We will definitely make this cafe one of our snack destinations in our travels. Yum yum!!
Highly recommend coming with friends so you can try each other's orders So good, their bannock is so fluffy and they make a sublime lavender matcha latte, if you like that sort of thing. The world needs more places like this. Will be back the next time we're in the area for sure!!
Fabulous First Nations cafe with the Best bannock! Breakfast all day, and try the cinnamon sugar bannock bitz too. My friend had a BBQ chicken bowl, I had the turkey cheddar breakfast bannock.
I’ve been going here for as long as I can remember. The bannock is always so fresh and light with the perfect flavour choices. And the Tacos are amazing aswell. Love the vibe and atmosphere overall. This is a Merritt staple and a must visit.

Definitely my new go-to spot when driving through! The venison blueberry harvest bowl was insane. Great selection, lots of affordable and well priced options. Smoothies looked really good, I’ll have to try one next time. Highly recommended!
Authentic Bannock and other creative food items. Very tasty. Service was excellent and "Nick" was outstanding at the counter where he provided suggestions for us first timers. This place was busy and that didn't stop during our entire stay. Wooden utensils and paper straws demonstrated commitment environmental stewardship. See photos of bill and food items for details.
